Shipping Policy

Overview

This shipping policy applies to all orders placed through hairiscurly.com. We sell to customers in the United States, Canada, the United Kingdom, Germany, France, Netherlands, Italy, Spain, and Sweden. We currently ship directly to the United States and the United Kingdom only. Orders from other supported countries are fulfilled through international shipping partners and may take additional time.

Shipping Rates

We offer free standard shipping on all orders over $50 (USD). Orders under $50 are subject to the following flat-rate shipping fees.

  • United States: $4.99 per order.
  • United Kingdom: $9.99 per order.

Shipping charges are calculated at checkout and displayed before payment. We do not charge handling fees.

Processing Time

All orders are processed within 1 to 3 business days after payment confirmation. Orders placed on weekends or public holidays will be processed on the next business day. You will receive an email confirmation once your order has been shipped.

Estimated Delivery Times

Delivery times are estimated from the date of shipment, not the date of order.

United States: 5 to 10 business days.

United Kingdom: 7 to 14 business days.

These are estimates only. Actual delivery times may vary due to customs clearance, local postal services, weather, or other factors outside our control.

Order Tracking

Once your order ships, you will receive a confirmation email with your tracking number and carrier details. You can also check your order status on our Track My Order page. Please allow 24 to 48 hours after receiving your shipping confirmation for the tracking information to become active in the carrier system.

Customs, Duties, and Taxes

Orders shipped to the United Kingdom may be subject to import duties, taxes, or customs fees charged by the UK government. These charges are determined and collected by your local customs authority, not by Hair Is Curly. We do not include these charges in our prices and we cannot estimate their amount in advance.

For customers in the United Kingdom, customs charges are governed by UK government import rules.

By placing an order, you accept responsibility for any customs charges that apply to your shipment.

Shipping Delays

We make every effort to deliver within the estimated timeframes listed above. However, delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control, including carrier disruptions, customs processing, severe weather, and public health situations. Hair Is Curly is not liable for delivery delays once a package has been transferred to the shipping carrier.

Incorrect or Incomplete Address

Please verify your shipping address before completing checkout. We are not responsible for orders delivered to an incorrect or incomplete address provided by the customer. If a package is returned to us because of an address error, we will contact you to arrange reshipment. Additional shipping charges may apply for reshipment.

Lost or Damaged Packages

If your tracking shows no movement for 15 or more business days, or if your package is confirmed lost by the carrier, please contact us at contact@hairiscurly.com with your order number. We will either reship your order or issue a full refund at your choice.

If your package arrives damaged, contact us within 7 days of delivery. Please include photos of the damaged product and packaging so we can resolve the issue quickly.

P.O. Box and Military Addresses

We ship to P.O. Box addresses within the United States. We also ship to APO, FPO, and DPO military addresses. Delivery to these addresses may take additional time beyond our standard estimates.

Policy Changes

We reserve the right to update this shipping policy at any time. Changes take effect immediately upon posting to this page. We encourage you to review this policy periodically. Continued use of our website after changes are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated policy.

Do you offer express or expedited shipping?

Not at this time. All orders ship via standard shipping. We are working on adding faster shipping options in the future.

Can I change my shipping address after placing an order?

If your order has not shipped yet, email us, and as soon as possible and we will update the address. Once an order has shipped, we cannot change the delivery address.

Do you ship to P.O. Boxes?

Yes, we ship to P.O. Box addresses and military addresses (APO, FPO, DPO) within the United States. Delivery may take slightly longer than standard estimates.

Why is my tracking number not working?

Tracking information can take 24 to 48 hours to become active after you receive the shipping confirmation email. If it still shows no results after 48 hours, please contact us, with your order number.
